Assistant Intimacy Coordinator
– Assisted on location for scenes of intimacy between principle actors that occurred outdoors involving nudity, prosthetics and modesty wear.
– Principle Actors – Eva Longoria, Kevin Alejandro & Luna Blaise. Directed by Aitch Alberto. Lead Intimacy Coordinator – Ann James.
NO ENGLISH (2022) Narrative Short – Los Angeles, CA
– Consulted on accurate depictions of medical abortion in private abortion clinics, current abortion laws and racial power dynamics for those searching for illegal abortions.
– Coordinated a scene of medical intimacy & collaborated with a stunt coordinator for a fight sequence directly after the scene.
KAIROS (2022) Narrative Short – Los Angeles, CA
– Choreographed intimate scenes in collaboration with the writer / director of the project while maintaining the boundaries and ensuring the continued informed consent of the actors.
– Handled complex power dynamics and mental health considerations for a scene involving sexual violence.
RYDER (2022) Independent Narrative Feature – Los Angeles, CA
– Consulted with the director on his vision for the scene and assisted in the curation of nudity riders during pre-production.
– Choreographed intimate scenes in collaboration with the writer / director of the project while maintaining the boundaries and ensuring the continued informed consent of the actors.
– Consulted with the directors and with actors regarding their options for modesty garments and assisted with proper usage during filming.
– Assured the continued consent of the actors and worked with the DP and director to curate realistic and intimate scenes of simulated sex during filming.
SAVE A LIFE (2022) Narrative Short, dir. Vivian D. Payton – Los Angeles, CA
– Provided consultation on best practices for the curation of intimacy on set, proper modesty garments and masking, proper language for casting and SAG-AFTRA guidelines and proper procedure for intimacy on set during the age of Covid-19.
– Worked on set with the director and DP to curate intimate scenes that supported and uplifted the unique experiences of black actors on set and that de-centered the cis-white-male gaze.
CAN YOU REACH THE MOON (2021) Narrative Short – Los Angeles, CA
– Provided script consultation on writing intimate scenes.
– Consulted with the director and producer on the process of working with an IC, proper use of modesty garments and their vision for the arc of the scene.
– Lead boundary setting exercises with the actors and choreographed 10 moments of intimacy to be compiled into a montage style love scene.
– Assisted Director and DP during filming in capturing intimate moments while masking modesty garments and ensuring the comfort of the actors.
WISH YOU HADN’T KILLED HIM? (2021) Narrative Short, Shot on 32 mm Film – Los Angeles, CA
– Provided consultation on intimacy garments and about props, costuming and how to rig their set for a scene of BDSM / Kink.
– Assisted on set in the application of intimacy garments and masking techniques for a film shot on 32 mm film.
BIRTHDAY BRUNCH (2021) Narrative Short – Los Angeles, CA
– Lead boundary setting exercises for a full cast of 8 actors before the production of this sexually charged comedy short.
– Consulted with the director on how to approach scenes of intimacy throughout the script, including consultation on intimacy garments, masking and best practices for open mouth kissing during Covid-19.
– Worked with Stunt Coordinator to choreograph scenes of intimacy that involved lifts, shoving and falling.
– Assisted on set in maintaining actor’s consent and boundaries and in masking simulated sex scenes for camera.

– Consulted with the director and cast on how to approach intimate scenes and established consent and boundaries practices on set.

– Consulted on the use of an Intimacy Coordinator to maintain consent of documentary subjects during the curation of b-roll for a documentary film on the female orgasm.
– Provided sexuality education consultation and recommended resources to the director on the topic of the film.
– Booked sexuality experts who were able to conduct interviews and lead embodied exercises on camera for the production.

– Assisted the director in rehearsals to curate an intimate narrative amongst the actors in his short.

THE NUTCRACKER BALLET (2020) Live Stream – Norwalk, CT
– Directed a 4-camera live streamed production of The Nutcracker Ballet that took place at the Wall Street Theater in Norwalk, CT.
FROM BIRMINGHAM TO BALTIMORE (2019) Multimedia Project – New York City, NY
– Directed, Filmed & Edited a behind-the-scenes documentary for a NYC-based dance company’s modern dance piece made in response to the Baltimore Riots.
– Edited complied historical footage of human rights campaigns to be projected over dancers in this multimedia modern dance piece.
– Interviewed the dancers and the choreographer on the impact of the project and the subject matter.
– Supported the choreographer and the dancers in discussing and properly depicting racially intense and culturally sensitive subject matter on stage and on screen.

– Directed & Edited a documentary short film on jealousy and compersion in various types of non-monogamous relationships.
– Supported queer, non-monogamous, kinky and non-binary interviewees as they discussed their relationship style and experiences in monogamous and non-monogamous relationships.

Intimacy Director
AFTERGLOW (2022) – Intimacy Director, Evan Bernardin Productions – Los Angeles, CA
– Curated a consent-forward and culturally competent performance environment for the West Coast premiere of S. Asher Gelman’s international hit sensation, AFTERGLOW, which explores the emotional, intellectual, and physical relationships between three men navigating a new, polyamorous relationship dynamic.
– Designed the intimacy for the live performances which include full nudity, a variety of scenes of simulated gay male sexuality and an on-stage shower.
Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop – Intimacy Director / Educator – Los Angeles, CA
– Led a workshop on Intimacy Director and assisted in curating consent – based performance instruction practices for the acting teachers at the Anthony Meindl’s Actor’s Workshop.
– Intimacy Directed for various scenes to be performed by the students of the AMAW during final course presentations, including a recreation of an intimate scene from Jeremy O’Harris’ Slave Play.

TEATRO ZINZANNI (2019 – ’21) – Circus, Chicago, IL
– Acted as the Lead Backstage Manager for the cirque cabaret show Teatro Zinzanni, produced by Broadway in Chicago, which featured rotating artists, over 250 props per show.
– Led a team of 4 additional stage manages and over 25 staff who acted as dancers, production crew members and waitstaff throughout the performance.

– Stage Managed a cast of over 250 dancers, aged from 4 years old to professional, and a full, live symphony orchestra for New England Academy of Dance’s yearly production of The Nutcracker Ballet.

– Stage managed a full length ballet production of Rogers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella.

TEATRO ZINZANNI (2019 – ’21) Circus – Chicago, IL
– Pendant flew prominent circus artists, including Elena Gatilova, Dreya Weber, Lea Hines, and Alseny Sylla, on lyra, aerial straps, braided silks, trapeze and hand loops.
– Checked and maintained aerial and other equipment for continued safety, including equipment for pole, risley / acarian games, duo trapeze, contortion and ascending rope.
– Trained 4 different stage managers on how to pendant fly and rig for circus and regularly trained additional production crew on rigging for circus and safety / aerial rescue procedures.

– Developed and Facilitated a Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion certificate workshop geared specifically toward Intimacy Professionals in film, television and live performance.
Trauma Responsive Practices – Healing Joy Collective
– Collaborated in the development and Co-facilitated a 3 part workshop, alongside Nadia Maynard, covering 10 trauma responsive framework principles (Developed by Mx. Chelsey Morgan & Nadia Maynard) geared toward an audience of Sexuality Educators

– Developed and facilitated a 90 minute workshop overviewing common BDSM / Kink play practices and outlined the safety concerns in each.
Accountability in our Communities – Ante Up Professional Development
– Collaborated in the updating of the curriculum and Co-facilitated a 4 hour workshop, alongside Bianca Laureano, MA, PhD, CSES, where participants examined select accountability processes that have been documented in the sexuality field and spoke with those who have gone through an accountability processes in order to identify aspects that are valuable for their community protocols for safety.
